How to change your name appearing on email?

  • For some reason when i write a letter to someone my Name says Chris Lxxxxxapoo which is totally wrong from my last name...Is there anyway to change it? Not my email address just my name that appears when people see who it is emailing them. Thanks in advance! :)

    CHANGE "FROM" NAME IN YAHOO MAIL 1. Click on the "Options", Mail Options link in the upper right of your yahoo mail page. 2. Click Accounts in the column on the left. 3. Click on Yahoo Mail in the window that opens to the right. 4. Go to the box across from "From", click in the box, delete what you have in there, and enter a nickname, email address or whatever you would like displayed in outgoing mail. 5. Most important, go to the top left of this window and click the Save Changes icon.

Yes, go to your home page, on the top right click Member Center. Sign in, On the top left click Edit Profile Details, to the right of the word Basic you will see Edit, click it. A new page will open here is where you can make changes. Be sure to click save when finished.
