How Do I Change Yahoo Answers Avatar and Display Name?

• I know this has been asked a million times, but I can't find the answer I need through Google or Yahoo. I've changed the picture and name on my Yahoo! profile successfully. But as far as being able to change the avatar and display name on the Answers portion of the profile, it'll let me change both, but won't save them. Are they the wrong size or format or something? Facts: -I know how to locate where to change them on my Yahoo! Answers account. -I'm trying to upload a picture from my computer, I don't want the avatars Yahoo! has. -I've looked in every conceivable area on this site to try and figure out how to save my results, so please don't give me an answer telling me how to get to the screen to change it unless it will actually save my results. -The name I want is in three separate words, all relatively short. I know it wouldn't let me have them all as one word on my profile. Thank you in advance! :)

  I see you know how to change your Avatar, so you probably only need steps 9 and 10, but check it out to ensure you did those too. Type http://avatars.yahoo.com/ into your browser. 1. Click the "Edit My Info" link. 2. Click "Edit My Yahoo Avatar" under the current one. 3. In the next page that opens, click on the category tabs above to find items to try on. 4. Click on the Appearance tab to change the avatar's face, eyes, and hair style and color. 5. Click on the "Apparel" tab to choose an outfit. 6. Click on the Extras tab to select bags, jewelry, eye ware and scarves. Check the other tabs too, to see if you'd like any other options. 7. When you spot something you like, click it, and you'll see the new look in the "Avatar Preview Window" on the left pane. 8. If you don't like it, uncheck it under "What I'm trying on" in the "Preview Window." 9. When finished selecting/saving each item, go to the new avatar on the left and click "Save Changes" in the orange bar under it. Go to your new Avatar on the right and click Use My Avatar. 10. Scroll down to and click on Preview, then OK. CHANGE AVATAR NAME: 1. Click "My Activity" at the top of this Answers Page to open your Profile 2. Click "Edit My Preferences" from the drop down box. 3. Scroll down to the Nickname section. 4. Check the radio button next to "Use another nickname", then enter a new one in the box below it. 4. Go to the bottom of the page and click "Preview", then OK to save and close your profile page.
