How do I change the name displayed on outgoing email?

How do I change the name as is displayed when I send an email from my yahoo a/c?.?

• When I send a mail; it carries my email a/c name as sender. I would like to display my proper name as sender. Pls guide me how to do that. I tried all settings and a/c information change also to the extent of changing my name details. But it still carried the original name it decided to display. Pls guide

  CHANGE "FROM" NAME IN YAHOO MAIL 1. Click on the "Options", Mail Options link in the upper right of your yahoo mail page. 2. Click Accounts in the column on the left. 3. Click on Yahoo Mail in the window that opens to the right. 4. Go to the box across from "From", click in the box, delete what you have in there, and enter a nickname, email address or whatever you would like displayed in outgoing mail. 5. Most important, go to the top left of this window and click the Save Changes icon.
