How do I set up mail to automatically put my address in it?

How do I set my an old e-mail address as a new one just like beggining?

• I have e-mail address " [email protected]". My this e-mail address is known to various people and they send me daily a lot meaningless e-mail that make me very uncomfotable. But I need this e-mail address because this email I have used as my personal e-mail in many neccessary places.. Now I want to set this e-mail address as my new e-mail address. I dont want to receive any mails from anyother previous addresses. How do I set my this email as my new one from now.

  I don't understand- but I'll try to explain some solutions. Alright, so If I am getting this. You don't want Spam, but you want the same e-mail. Right? Well re-creating the exact same e-mail (probably not possible anyways) won't help you. The Spam people will still have that e-mail on their databses. Now if you want to get rid of the Spam open up those horrible e-mails (and I'm sure they're horrible) and look for an "unsubscribe" thing. I'm sure this will take forever (as I have had this problem too) If they don't have an unsubscribe thing find some ways to contact them and tell them to remove you. If nothing works- block them (I tend to find this is the least effective- they change e-mails) Up your spam protection. Don't sign up for anything (use a non-personal e-mail for anything you sign up for- things that it is ok if you change e-mails on) Other idea, you just want a new e-mail. Thats easy, go in any provider and set up one. Look at your adress book, copy the adressess and e-mail everyone (from your new- AND old account) and tell them that you are changing e-mails.
