How do you make a signature for yahoo?

How do I make my yahoo signature jpg image work?

• I have uploaded an image for my yahoo signature but it doesn't show up in sent emails. It clearly appears as the signature when I upload it, in the preview, and every time I open the mail page. I have tried uploading 2 versions from my hard drive and I've also tried it using my own html from my webpage ftp site. I know for sure it doesn't work because I've sent myself emails to check it. Originally, the image error red x appeared but now, after all my messing with it, an actual link to open the image appears and it does work, opening in a new window. But I want the image visible at the bottom of the page. Any ideas?

  In Yahoo Mail, the signature is only text, smileys and hyperlinks. You cannot embed an image.
