How can I change my yahoo mail name?

How can i change my display name on yahoo mail?

  • I go to Option, than Account information. I can see that there are two spaces where it's mandatory to type name and surname. Then there is another one that says Display Name. Whenever I send a mail it'll show my name and surname instead of the display name. i.e. my name is Jane Doe and I want my mails to look coming from Jane. I cannot leave the Surname field empty therefore my mails always look coming from Jane Doe instead of from Jane... I hope is clear... How can i change it? I remember that there was an option in the old yahoo accounts giving the chance to show a display name...

    Change how your name appears on your email. Click Options in the top-right corner of your Yahoo! Mail page and select Mail/More Options. From the list on the left, click Accounts. Click Yahoo! Mail under Accounts In the your 'From' name" field, enter your name exactly as you'd like it to appear within your outgoing messages If you leave the Reply-To field blank, your Yahoo! Mail address will be automatically included as the return address in your outgoing messages. If you'd like a different return address to be included, enter it in the Reply-To field Click the Save button to put your new settings into effect. *****************************~~~~~~~~~… Or, You can make an alias account it's an extra account with in your main one http://edit.yahoo.com/config/list_alias click on the blue link to do that. CHANGE "FROM" NAME IN YAHOO MAIL 1. Click on the "Options", Mail Options link in the upper right of your yahoo mail page. 2. Click Accounts in the column on the left. 3. Click on Yahoo Mail in the window that opens to the right. 4. Go to the box across from "From", click in the box, delete what you have in there, and enter a nickname, email address or whatever you would like displayed in outgoing mail. 5. Most important, go to the top left of this window and click the Save Changes icon.
