What happened to my avatar on my My Yahoo page?

What happened to my mail avatar?

  • Yesterday, when I logged into my mail, my avatar along with my name was there. I log in today and it's gone, my avatar on my mail page is now that stupid gray smiley face and instead of my actual name it says my email address. I clicked on the face and it took me to the yahoo profile/pulse page but all it showed was a white page and at the top in the bar it said error, I tried going back multiple times and the same thing happened. Personally I couldn't care less about the profile/pulse thing but I want my mail avatar and name back. How do I get them back?

  • Answer:

The same thing happened to me and pretty much most of the people I know. Your mail avatar is your profile/pulse avatar. This has happened before, my guess is that it's just a glitch in the program. There are a few different things you can try to fix it. You can log out and back in a few times, you can restart you browser or just wait awhile. I did all the above and after I restarted my browser and waited about 5 minutes or so my avatar and name where back just like they usually are. Hope I helped!

Mine is missing to - just like that. I have no idea, but I'm going to try and see what's going on. Hi, I'm back. I signed out of my account a couple of times, and that didn't really help much. . . But my avatar is back again, and it has my name like usual. How is yours?
