How do u hyperlink questions or other answers on yahoo?

I don't want my Yahoo email contacts seeing my Yahoo Answers questions. How can I change this?

  • I noticed that if I send myself an email I can see my latest Yahoo Answers Questions even though I have a different profile name under Yahoo Answers than I do for my Yahoo mail. I then tried to send myself an email from my job Yahoo email and it shows my last Yahoo Answers Questions AND my Yahoo Answers profile name. I thought the point of using another profile name was to separate yourself so people wouldn't know your real email name. And I had no idea other people could see my Yahoo Answers questions. Embarrassing! Is there a way to change this?

  • Answer:

    You could try this (I don't know if it works.): click on your user name for Yahoo on the upper left of this screen, then click on settings on the upper right, click on "manage updates" then scroll for Answers and click the "share with no one" option. I hope you didn't answer anything too personal :) I feel for you :)

PRIVATIZE YOUR PROFILE: 1. Rest your mouse on "My Activity" at the top of this page. 2. Click Edit My Preferences to open your profile page. 3. Un-check the first three boxes in the "Privacy Section." (Read them over to decide if you wish to do this). 4. Under the Yahoo! Answers Network, check only the boxes next to "On my public profile, hide my Q&A from people not in my Answers Network" and "On my public profile, hide my Answers Network from people who are not in it." 5.
