Answer:
Change how your name appears on your email. On your mail page, Click "Options" then select "More Options" click "Accounts", Click Add or edit an account In the box on the left, click Yahoo! Mail then Click Edit. In the "From name" box enter your name exactly as you'd like it to appear within your outgoing messages. If you leave the "Reply-To" field blank, your Yahoo! Mail address will be shown as the return address in your outgoing emails. If you'd like a different return address to be included, enter it after "Reply-To". Click "Save" to finalise Have a great day. Jes***

You'll have to go in and change the "from line" setting. This is the NEW WAY to change the "from line" setting----the old way is no longer available. This works the same on both versions---either Classic or New Mail. Mail page>>options>>mail options (or "more options" on the New Mail)>>Accounts (from the list on the left)>>then click on "Yahoo Mail" (middle of page, under "Accounts"). Now you'll need to erase whatever is showing, on the "From line" and type in something else---a nickname---or anything you want-----then click "save" changes at the top of page. ......................................… You CAN'T leave that line blank---otherwise Yahoo WILL INSERT something there, the previous used name---or sometimes the word "False" ............................. Some people say you have to log out and then back in, for the changes to be effective----but some find it's "not necessary"-----maybe it depends on your setup ??
