How do I change the name displayed on outgoing email?

How do i change the displayed name in an email that I send without changing my email address?

• I know this has been asked before and Ive read the answers and have changed my profile page but ... when I send an email the orignal name i gave myself is displayed on the receivers InBox. Its no longer my name as Ive changed it so now when I send emails people dont know who its from and some have assumed its spam and have deleted my emails without opening them. This is getting frustrating. I really need to have my name displayed correctly on my emails. Ive gone into Address/contact details and gone onto edit. That has got my correct name listed but for some reason nothing but my former name attaches itself to my out-going emails. HELP!!!!

  Here is how you change your name on your email. Go to "Options" on the right side of your email page Click on "Mail Options" Click on "General Preferences" Go down to "Name and Email" Go to From name: Enter the name you want to show Click on “Save” Hope this Helps!!!
