How to change fonts in yahoo mail?

How can I change the fonts on my yahoo e-mail messages?

  • I used to be able to do all kinds of things on AOL but I can't figure it out on Yahoo.

    Just in case you are using Original Yahoo mail-----go to mail page and click "options" (upper right in blue letters)---then scroll to and click "general preferences". Now go down to *Composing Emails* and put a check in the box----"compose with color and graphics"-----then to bottom of page and click "save". The formatting bar should now be on your composing page----where you have the option to change fonts-----and more.

How do I change font sizes? Good question. Because who doesn't want to put vision tests in their emails? T O C H A N G E F O N T S I Z E click the arrow in the font-size pull-down menu in your Compose window. It's just to the right of the pull-down menu where you select your font. 36-point is the largest font size you can select, and 8 is the smallest. You don’t see these pull-down menus? That’s because font and size choices – along with other text-enhancement options – are only available in Rich Text mode, not in Plain Text. To select Rich Text, simply look to the right of the Subject: box on your Compose screen, and click the link that says Rich Text. Bingo! While you are composing, highlight the message and click the two F's button. A list of fonts will come up. Click one. Hope this helps!
