How do I change the name that shows as my name when I email?

When I send an email it still shows my old name as the sender, how do I change my sender name on my emails?

• When I check my emails the name that shows who the email is from (me) is my old name, I changed my name on my yahoo but it still shows my old name?

• Answer:

  On mail page, click on "options"---then on "general preferences". Here you will see how your name appears on the from line of your mail. Change it here to anything you would like and then click "save" at bottom of page.
