How can I change the name that shows up on my Yahoo Profile?

How to change name on public profile?

  • I'm taking over as admin for an email account of a charity. Im using plan old fashioned Yahoo Classic Mail. I want to change or delete the sender's name seen by recipients of emails. (Not obviously the name of the actual email account) I've changed the name in the profile, and when I log in it shows 'Hello XXXX' using the new correct name but when I send an email, it still shows it as being from the previous admin person who set up the account. I can't find any answers in Help, so you guys are my last chance.
