How do I get my Avatar Pic out of my Yahoo E-Mail Account?

  • I didn't realize that my Avatar pic was going to be displayed on my Yahoo E-Mail Account as well. I don't mind it posted here on Yahoo Answers b/c here is more casual & NOT Businesslike. I have some important Contacts in my Career & am afraid that them by seeing my Avatar pic when they send me an e-mail it'll leave a bad impression of me. Like going on a Job Interview w/ your Hair Spray Painted & Spiked w/ a Mohawk. I tried Deleting my Avatar here which was successful hoping that this change would carry over to my Yahoo E-Mail account, but it didn't. It's (Avatar Pic) is STILL on my E-Mail. So: 1) If you modify like Delete your Avatar Pic here does it Delete automatically on your Yahoo E-Mail account? 2) If not, what do I need to do to Delete the Pic on my Yahoo E-Mail Account? 3) Could I keep my Avatar Pic HERE And NOT have it shown on my Yahoo E-Mail Account? ***What can I do about this problem? Please let me know ASAP. It's urgent (b/c I'm in the middle of E-Mailing some of my Contacts - i.e. this Professor I know that I need help from)!! TRACKS

    Go to http://avatars.yahoo.com and delete it there. It is under "preferences". More Information: Yahoo Uses the avatar that is displayed in your profile at http://profiles.yahoo.com That can be the cartoon avatar or one that you upload. There is therefore no need to delete the cartoon one. Just upload a real picture and use it as the profile picture. Yahoo Answers and Messenger allows you to use either. ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪
