How to change Yahoo Mail e-mail name?

  • I tried e-mailing my brother's e-mail and when I e-mail him, my name in his inbox shows "From: "You Homo." I didn't do this at all and I want to change it back to my name. It has just changed recently because I used to e-mail him before and it showed "From:My Name." How do I change it back? I tried going into My Profile and changing the display name but that doesn't do it. Please and thanks for help.

    helllo go to mail. click on options top right corner and the first box is your yahoo email display name box. what you have in your profile shows in places like y groups. for your mail, you need to change your mail display name. roger

CHANGE "FROM" NAME IN YAHOO MAIL 1. Click on the "Options", Mail Options link in the upper right of your yahoo mail page. 2. At the top of the page that opens, across from "From", click in the box, delete what is in there, and enter a nickname or whatever you would like displayed in outgoing mail. 4. Most important, go to the top left and click the Save Changes icon. Now, change your password. It sounds like someone is messing with your account.
