Can you delete an AIM screen name?
-
I want to delete the screen names I have on AIM. I don't just want to not use them anymore, or just delete AOL instant messenger from my computer. But I want to actually erase the screen names, so that they don't exist anymore (unless of course, that is, if some clever person creates the same name at some point, and then they'll have it). So is this possible? And how do I do it?

Answer:
Haven't had AOL for a long time...Most users on this site probably never have had it. May I suggest you call AOL and ask for tech support. I do remember that they were very helpful when needed...good luck call 1-888-265-8008. NOTE: Please remember to pick one of your answers as the best answer by clicking on the THUMBS UP at the end of that particular answer...otherwise Yahoo will have to do it for you and they have enough to do....thanx
