Can not make new folder yahoo mail?
-
when I click on "move to" and select "new folder" nothing happens. I can not create a new folder in yahoo mail. I do not have over 256 folders. I only have about 40 folders. I tried to click on "add" under folders on left side folder list, and nothing happens there either. I want to add a new folder.

Answer:
Hi Nancy, All I can think is that there must be a limit to the amount of folders your allowed. But you can try this Type these 3 keys together Ctrl+Shift+Delete and in the window that appears click on Delete That will clear out your browser cache and should help with the problem. Have a good day. Jess :)

For Classic Mail: To create a new folder, find “Folders” on the left side of your Mail page. Next to “Folders” are the links Add—Edit. See them? Click Add. A window opens and politely requests that you “Please enter a name for your folder.” Any ideas? For a folder where you intend to store fan mail, we suggest “Fan Mail”. But go on, name the folder whatever you’d like. CREATE A FOLDER: 1. With the message WINDOW open that you wish to save, look above and click" Move". 2. From the drop down menu, click on "New Folder." You may need to allow it to open from the message that appears at the top and click on "Move" again. 3. Enter a "Title" you will remember in the box that opens in the upper left. 4. Click OK. To open your list of Folders, click Edit across from My Folders in the left navigation bar. Click on the subject line of the one you wish to open.
