How do I edit my yahoo ID card?

I misspelled my last name and the edit feature on my yahoo ID card has no place to correct it. HELP!?

  • When I opened my new yahoo mail account I misspelled my last name. I went to the Yahoo ID card information and clicked on the edit button. You can change most of what you originally signed up with except for your name. I hope I'm not stuck with all my emails reading with a mispelled last name. I have been all over the help pages.

    You can correct it with the "From". Here’s how to do it: 1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Yahoo! Mail page. 2. Under “Management”, click General Preferences. 3. Right at the top, in the “From name:” box, enter your name how you’d like it to appear in the "From:" line of your outgoing messages. Example: “Sally Tiptoes”. 4. If you want, you can also adjust the email address to which people send messages when they click “Reply”. If you leave the “Reply to:” field blank, your Yahoo! Mail address is the return address. You CAN change it. I think you might have just clicked on the wrong "Edit" button the first time. Click on "My Account" again to view your ID Card. Scroll down close to the bottom of the page to where you see: "Address/Contact Information" and click the blue "Edit" button across from it on the right. From the page that opens, you can change your name or correct the misspelling. Click "Finished" button.

what you need to do is, go to edit information on your yahoo(my profile). and then change whatever you need to, and then just save it.
