How do i use my new avatar for my yahoo answers picture?

i feel a bit silly because i always see this question and i thought it was easy but i changed mine today and couldnt submit it for use as the avatar on the question page i also thought i would find the answer when i typed the question but it never came up so it looks like i am going to ask exactly the same question as everybody else sorry thanks for your help i think i will ask this to yahoo as a lot of people seem to find the actual submitting bit of this complecated xxx vici

They are having problems with the avatars at the moment, i have been stuck with this mask too long, even though I changed my avatar, it won't change on here.
