How do I change the name that shows as my name when I email?

How do i change my yahoo email name? "me mooe" shows when others get my emails! please help me change the name

  • so when i made my yahoo email, they asked my name. and was just quickly doing it, so i just randomly typed in some letters. the letters came out to be "me mooe" and are tormenting me!! i went into the mail options and already put in my name but when i send emails to others "me mooe" still shows up as my name. i just want to use yahoo since its ten times better than aol, but i dont want people to get mail from me mooe. its annoying and emabrrassing. i tried changing it but it still shows up!! HELP ME PLEASE!

  • Answer:

    Go to "mail options / accounts". Select the account you want to edit and change the FROM name. It does work since I changed mine to Barkley Hound which is not my Yahoo ID official name. ✩
