Why won't MSN let me change my display name?

Why wont it let me change my display name?

Every time i try to change my display name (yahoo) it comes up with 'invalidated input format' is it something to with what i change it to (I only changed it to my nickname) or what? Thanks in advance :D

The process has changed with Yahoo Updates. CHANGE "FROM/DISPLAY" NAME IN YAHOO MAIL: 1. Click on the "Options", Mail Options link in the upper right of your yahoo mail page. 2. Click Accounts in the column on the left. 3. Click on Yahoo Mail in the window that opens to the right. 4. Go to the box across from "From", click in the box, delete what you have in there, and enter a nickname, email address or whatever you would like displayed in outgoing mail. 5. Most important, go to the top left of this window and click the Save Changes icon.
