How to remove email addresses?

How do I remove extra email addresses I used and then deleted, which keep appearing in "autofill" when I login?

  • I set up several email accounts with Yahoo, which were only in use for a few months, but I checked the "remember me on this computer" box on the log in page, so that I didn't have to type in the email address and password for each one, each time I used them. Now I have deleted 2 of accounts, but the email address and its corresponding password to continue to "be available" to "autofill" the login boxes, when I go to log in again. I know that they do not "lead" anywhere, and that the information on the sites is not "available" to other users, but I don't want future users to see that these sites were EVER present, as it concerns personal business matters. How do I delete these extra "autofill" choices? Thanks to anyone who can help me out!

  • Answer:

To get rid of the auto fill go to the empty ID box on the login screen and double click. That should bring up a list. Highlight the one you want deleted and press the "delete" key. As for the passwords I do not believe there is a way to delete only selective ones in IE but you can in Firefox. See below to remove all of them. For IE... Go to "general ↬ browsing history ↬ delete" Uncheck "usernames and passwords on forms" For Firefox... Go to "tools ↬ options ↬ security ↬ passwords" Uncheck "remember passwords for sites" ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪
