How do I hide my email address when sending a message?

If, like me and others, you don't want to give your e-mail address to sign in to websites, only to get flooded with junk mail, there are a few sites that allow you to receive e-mail from the web if you so chose or to designate how long you will receive e-mail. The sites will not have your actual e-mail address. Neese.org gives you several good alternatives. I have used Spamgourmet.com for the past 8 years and I love it. It allows me the ability to create an e-mail address to use to provide to the requester. Yet I control if I receive mail from their site as well as how many messages I receive. Example: [email protected]. The "Ask" is a random name I create for the requesting site (It can be anything you want). The 3 reperesents how many times e-mail will be forwarded to my actual e-mail account. You can edit this number at anytime or just go to the site and indicate that it is a site you want to forward indefinitely or add how many more messages you wish to receive from the site. The XXX is whatever your user name at Spamgourmet will be. @Spamgpurmet.com will always be in the e-mail address you provide to have the sender initally send the mail to Spamgourmet. After the site sends 3 messages, if you don't request to allow to continue, the site may continue to send you e-mail, but your e-mail account will not receive them cuz the Spamgourmet website does not forward anymore messages. The only thing is that you have to give your actual e-mail address to Spamgourmet so the site can forward e-mail to your actual e-mail account
