How do I change my last name on my emails?

I just divorced, how do I change my last name on my account so it will show when i send yahoo emails?

  • All the yahoo emails I send show my old married name which I never want to see again. How do I change it to my Maiden name on my account? I don't see any way to do it on Edit Profile.

    If you use the old classic version of Y.Mail, go to Mail Options > General Preferences In the "From name" box, enter the name or nickname you want to use. Finally, click Save. If you use the new Beta version, click Options > Mail Options and select Accounts from the side menu. Click 'Add or edit an account'. When the Accounts window opens, click the Edit button. In the General Preferences window, enter the name you want to appear on your outgoing mails. Click Save.

I suppose you mean Yahoo Mail... go to mail.yahoo.com, inside your mailbox choose Options (on the far right corner, at least in the old interface), General Preferences, and From Name.
