Why did Yahoo do away with the Avatar makeover plug-in?

Avatar disappeared...can someone explain why?

  • I have a rather perplexing problem: I have Yahoo!Mail Classic. I don't want to switch to Yahoo!M Beta, I really like the Classic kind. But I logged on today, (ok, technically yesterday) and my Avatar had completely disappeared. It was gone. I don't mean there was a little gray block where it used to be, or a little block that said I had to download a plugin, or even one of those rectangles with a triangle and a circle and a square inside of it, letting you know that that image couldn't be shown. I mean gone without a trace. Like it wasn't even there. I miss my avatar. It was so pretty. (As you can obviously see. lol) Can anyone help me?

    Avatars dont usually disappear like that. It mus've got deleted somehow. Make a new one, that would replace your mail's old avatar
