How to change email name on Yahoo account?

How do I change the name that i set up for my yahoo email account?

• When I set up my yahoo email account I put a different name with it so it looks like this when I email people: "Leah James", [email protected] Well I want to change the name that comes before my email address, but I dont know how??

  All you have to do is change the "from line" setting. This is the **NEW WAY** to change the "from line" setting----the old way is no longer available. This works the same on both versions. Mail page>>options>>mail options (or "more options" on the New Mail)>>Accounts (from the list on the left)>>then click on "Yahoo Mail"--- middle of page, under "Accounts"). Now you'll need to erase whatever is showing, on the "From line" and type in something else---a nickname---or an alias---or whatever you want----THEN click "save" changes at the top of that page. ......................................… You CAN'T leave that line blank. Some people say you have to log out and then back in, for the changes to be effective----but some find it's "not necessary"-----maybe it depends on your computer ??
