How do you get a cartoon icon?

How do you get those really cool cartoon faces of yourselves as the icon?

I'm asuming I haven't been speaking to a bunch of cartoons all this time!
Answer:

in the upper left hand corner of the screen, it will say "hello chazhandles" click on that and another screen will appear. underneath your gray smiley face click on "edit my info" you can create an avatar (cartoon) there, by clicking on "edit my yahoo avatar" .

They are avatars you know it's been that long I can't remember. I think it was part of the email service.
