Why do some of my email messages just say load and nothing shows up?

Answer:

Yahoo is making major changes to email and it is causing disruptions. Not everyone is affected but problems have lasted for 5 weeks. This happened for 6 weeks in 2008 and for 8 weeks in 2009. Then, suddenly, everything was fine. Yahoo will get this fixed. Notify help.yahoo.com so they have a record. You are not alone with this problem.

A number of things you can try include Update Adobe Flash Player Internet Explorer and Java script . Clear Explorer cache, cookies, and browsing history. Some find that a return to classic mail improves things. You could also try an alternative browser.
