How do I remove the advertisement's from yahoo mail?

How do i remove the photo in my Yahoo Mail image?

When sending Yahoo mail there is a photo associated with my mail ID. I want to remove it. All documentation says that the photo comes from and can be changed in my Yahoo profile which is managed with Yahoo Pulse. Two problems; a) there are no photos in my Yahoo Profile and b) you can no longer add/change/delete photos in Yahoo Profile because Yahoo Pulse is being discontinued and is currently read-only. How do I remove the photo in my Yahoo Mail image?

ok so goto your mail. click on your name and go to your profile. you will see a bar of options on the left side. there home profile info contacts photos blog and apps. click on info and then your picture which is a little box next to the bold words "my info". now click on your pic again which is now bigger. when u scroll by it you will see that it says add/change your photo .click on it and change the pic and press ok. thats what i did
