How do I make Yahoo my short cut on my desktop?

How do I get a short cut icon on my desktop for my yahoo email?

  • I am not computer knowledgeable and somehow I lost the ability to access my yahoo email. I have no idea how to get to it now. Can someone give me step by step instructions so I can once again access my mail? I thought perhaps if I can put an icon on my desktop for yahoo mail that might work. I know I have a yahoo email account because I have used it to send and receive mail. The only problem is that I can only access it if I receive mail because I get the message that I have received new mail and I can click that and it opens my email but if I have no unopened emails I can't access my account.

    Go to search type Yahoo Mail this will find it.Open it up send it to desktop or you could lick on the icon on the left of your Yahoo Mail address bar (before http) and drag it to your desktop. This will give you a desktop shortcut.

GAIN ACCESS TO YOUR YAHOO MAIL: Type www.yahoo.com into your browser. When the links page opens, click on the one for Yahoo mail. When the sign in page opens, enter your ID, Password, and click Sign In. Once you have your mail page open, click File->Send-> Shortcut to Desktop.
