How do I change my picture and name on yahoo messenger?

• On my picture and name on my yahoo messenger, the picture is right but the name is not mine I would like to change the name only. Hope someone has the answer for this thanks Fred

  To edit your name on emails being sent... 1). Log into your Yahoo! Email account 2). Upper right corner, click on Options 3). Click General Preferences under Management. 4). Name and Email Section change the From name: (This name will appear on the From line of outgoing mail.) Enter the name as you would like it to appear. 5). Click Save. ______________________________ To edit your name in an IM box... 1). Log into Yahoo! Messenger. 2). Click on Messenger. 3). Click on My Contact Details. ~~If you want to have your First Name only, delete your Last name. ~~If you want to use the Nickname field, delete your First and Last name and enter the name you would like to see in the IM box in the Nickname field. ~~If you want only your Account ID to show, leave all fields blank. 4). Always click Apply and OK when making any changes.
