How do i change my outgoing name to be my actually email address?

  I am assuming you mean you want the FROM name to be the same as your Yahoo ID which precedes @yahoo.com. The FROM name is what your recipients see in their in box prior to opening the email. If this is correct the following will show you how to make that happen. You can change the FROM name or place one in for the first time by doing one of the following.. Click on this link http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/cl%E2%80%A6 In MAIL CLASSIC....click on OPTIONS...MAIL OPTIONS...scroll down to FROM NAME and change it to what you want. Go above and click on SAVE CHANGES. Note: If you leave the FROM NAME blank you will end up seeing this when you compose or forward an email.....FALSE followed by your email address.NOTE: for some reason this does not always work on Mail Classic. If it doesn't follow the steps as described in All New Mail.. In ALL NEW MAIL....click on OPTIONS...MORE OPTIONS...go to the left side of the screen and click on ACCOUNTS...Once in click on ADD OR EDIT AN ACCOUNT...then click on EDIT...scroll down to FROM NAME and change it to what you want....Then go above and click on SAVE...Note: If you leave the FROM NAME blank you will see Yahoo Mail followed by your full name and your email address when composing or forwarding an email.
