How do u guys get the avatar as ur picture?

  • i see how to upload a pic but a lot of u hav a cartoon person as ur avatar. how do u do that?

    To create/change a Yahoo cartoon avatar go here: http://avatars.yahoo.com/ Then go to: http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit , click "use my yahoo avatar" -> scroll down -> click "preview" and then "ok". For all other picture avatars: http://profiles.yahoo.com/ - go here to create a profile -> click "change photo" -> click "add photo" -> select the picture you want from your harddrive -> click "save". Now click "use selected photo", done. Note: the pic has to be a .jpg or .png file, it must be smaller than 5 MB, and it also has to be square.

Hi Samantha, I noticed that your profile page is hidden,that's Ok ,but it means that your avatar won't show,To Fix that if you want. click on your name at the top of the page then in your Profile page click on Settings 'top right' and in the Privacy bit click on Manage Settings then remove all the ticks,and click on Save that should do it. Now for the Avatar Right Click on this link and choose Open in a new Tab. Then you will be able to get back to this page for reference http://avatars.yahoo.com Design and customise your avatar, Click "Save Changes" button then Click, http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit Click on update,then pick the photo/avatar you want * and click on "Use selected photo" And remember to click on Submit when your done * If you want to Add a Photo then click on browse then pick a photo from your My Photo's and do the Captcha code, good luck If you need more help just click on my avatar and email me "your email address remains hidden by Yahoo.
