How to set my avatar as my icon?

I cant change my icon?

  • I have my preferences set to use profile image, and I changed my profile image from this dumb beer hat avatar, but my yahoo answers icon wont change. Any help? or is yahoo just broken

    Avatar's there are 2 kinds, Yahoo cartoon type and just a picture that you have stored on your PC For a Yahoo avatar: click on this link http://avatars.yahoo.com Design and customize your avatar, Click "Save Changes" button then Click http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit In the "Picture" section of this edit page, click on "Use my Yahoo avatar" then click Preview and OK to finalise. For the Photo avatar, Click on this link http://profiles.yahoo.com/ Hover over your image and click "Change Picture" Click "Add Photo" then browse, choose the picture that you want,and do the CAPTCHA code. When your picture has uploaded, click on it then on "Use selected photo" Then click on this link, http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit then click on "Use my Profile image" And finally click on Preview and OK that's you good luck.
