How can I delete alternate emails I created?

I've moved emails to folders, now i want to delete those folders, and i cant, how do i???

  • i've moved emails i wanted to save, to folders that i've created, now i no longer want to keep these files, i can delete the files but not the folder name . i must have 30 at least , how do i delete the folder name???? thanks

    You can delete the empty folders. At the top of your folders list, click on "Add/Edit" Your folders list will open. Look for the ones you've emptied contents out of. They will have zero contents. Next to each one, you will see in blue, the option to delete after each one.

Clicking does not give you the option to delete the folder. I have been trying to find this out as well. No luck so far. I have folders that are just making themselves in my "box". I would really like to know how to delete them, or I will just have to shut down my account. We should be able to fully control this option. This is web-based through yahoo.

How about left click the file name and then right click it and then try the delete option. I hope it works.

this is not a question that can be solved. You do not provide the mostimportant info that we need to help you: What software you use for mails? Is it Outlook express, Outlook or is it Web based e-mail like Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail etc
