How to do a grey avatar background?

How do I display my full avatar, including background?

How can I get my full avatar to appear instead of just the face? I've seen a few people do this and I can't seem to figure it out! I tried 'edit my 360 profile' and it claims that the edit picture feature is temporarily unavailable, as that has been the case for the past few weeks. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

This edit my 360 profile has been unavailable for quite some time as Yahoo is combining some others programs with it. Many with that complaint. I have seen some here also with the full avatar and wondered how they did it. Maybe someone will respond to you. I would like to know too.
