How do I remove the yahoo taskbar?

How can I remove the Yahoo mail icon from the taskbar?

  • I installed Yahoo messenger and found that I now have a Yahoo mail icon that I did not want in my taskbar. How can I get rid of it?

  • Answer:

    Right click the taskbar, a menu will pop up, click properties, a menu will pop up, under the Taskbar tab click Customize, scroll down and find Yahoo! Mail, click it to highlight it and give you a down arrow, click the down arrow and click Always hide, click OK and click Apply.

You can do this by following this: > Click the pencil icon on the toolbar beside the search box > A separate menu will drop down > Point your cursor on Personal Options > A separate menu will pop up > Click Add/Edit Buttons and make sure Yahoo!
