How do I permanently change the font size when sending emails?

How do you change the font size on Yahoo home page and on emails etc.?

    There are several methods to enlarge or shrink the font size on your screen, and they work for ANY web page, in any browser. They may have to be set for each web site, unfortunately, although they usually remain constant for links within that site. Usually, Windows 'remembers' the set size when you close that site, and uses it again the next time. (from easiest to slowest), take your choice: 1. Hold the Ctrl key and move the scroll wheel slowly ... away from you to enlarge, towards you to shrink. On a laptop touchpad, use Ctrl and finger down. 2. Hold the Ctrl key and click + or + + to enlarge, and - or - - to shrink. (On Windows 7, use the Windows key and + or -, not Ctrl.) 3. Click View at the top > Zoom > Zoom In or Zoom Out (the keyboard shortcuts in #2 are there as a clue if you forget them) NOTE: Internet Explorer 9 and Firefox 4 & 5 have hidden the menu bar, so you will need to click the browser icon to find View). To change the font size in outgoing mail, select Rich Text on your mail page (then Plain text is shown in the box), click the Font size box. 8 is small, 12 a bit big, and 14 only for headlines. To change the size in Replies or Fwds. highlight the message before doing this.

On emails, there is a tool bar just above the text box, and just under the words "attach files" . There are icons there that allow you to change the font, the size, the color, emoticons, bold, underscore an italic. Very simple. I just tried the CTRL +/- for the whole window and that actually works. I'm glad to have that bit of info. Thanks to the person who posted that.
