How do I open up a new folder?

How would I have new email sent to a specific folder in Yahoo mail?

• I had done this before but I forget exactly how I did it. I had somehow figured out how to have specific email from one contact sent to a folder I created in my Yahoo (mail) so that way, I wouldn't have to search for it in my inbox, it would be there in that folder (which the title of the folder would become bold with new mail). How do you have emails sent to a specific folder in your Yahoo?

  You would have to set up a personal "Filter", to re-direct incoming mail (from a designated address), to a separate folder, instead of the inbox. Mail page>>options>>>mail options>>"Filters" (from the list on the left)---and click "add".
