How to add a picture from photobucket to my yahoo mail signature
-
Answer:
You can add an image to your email and/or signature by following the steps below. First, set up an account with a photo-sharing web site like Flickr (Yahoo), PhotoBucket, Snapfish or many others and upload the image. Note: 1. The image must be on the web and cannot be on your computer. You may not be allowed to copy some web images due to HTML or copyright restrictions on the page. 2. If your mail/signature is set to "Plain text", then change it to "Rich Text" by clicking on the Rich Text link. (It is a 'toggle switch', which shows Plain Switch when you are actually in Rich Test.) In the Mail body, 1. First locate the image you want to display. (** on any web page! **) 2. Right-click your mouse on the highlighted image and select Copy from the menu, or Ctrl + C. 3. Log into your Yahoo! Mail account. (or have it open in another tab.) 4. In a new mail, click where you would like the image. Paste your copied image by right-clicking and choosing Paste or by pressing Ctrl + V. In the Signature, 1. First locate the image you want to display on your signature. (** on a web page! **) 2. Right-click your mouse on the highlighted image and select Copy from the menu, or Ctrl + C. 3. Log into your Yahoo! Mail account. 4. Click the Options menu in the upper-left corner, and select Mail Options from the pull-down list. Select Signature from the panel on the left. 5. If your signature is set to "Plain text", then change it to "Rich Text" by clicking on the Rich Text link. (Plain Text shows when you are actually in Rich Text - it is a confusing 'toggle switch') 6. Select 'Show a signature on all outgoing messages'. Click where you would like the image. Paste your copied image by right-clicking and choosing Paste or by pressing Ctrl + V. 7. Click on Save Changes at the top of the page. Source(s): http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/basics/basics-12.html;_ylt=AgfMUIj6zXbsO9_Td3m8EBrzPXpG (April 03, 2011)
