How do I get my picture to show in yahoo answers?

  • I built a picture of my self-- in avatar---thru this site..(Yahoo! Answers)but it won't show when I answer or ask questions, like everybody elses, I went into my profile, and there was the picture I built, but it doesn't show where to submit it ...where do I go to make it show??.

    Click on your old avatar in Yahoo Answers which brings you to your profile. Now go to "Edit My Info". You can pick the cartoon or photo to use. BE SURE TO PREVIEW AND SAVE (OK) THE PAGE AT THE BOTTOM. Shortcut: http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit ₪ ɦəlʞɹɐq ₪

Go onto your profile which you should find to the left on the home page or to the right when answering a question - and them you should see a thing saying 'edit my profile' roughly in the middle of the page. Then once you've clicked on that it will come up with things you're able to edit, it will have 'nickname' and then 'picture'. It will then have three options, then you can choose from there, and if you haven't made an avatar it will give you the option to do that area. Need any question just ask, pleased to help - James

gop to your profile and tell it to use the pic you want. you have to upload it (it sounds like you've done this tho) and check the box which indicates what to use...
