How do I use an actual picture for my icon?

How do you use a picture insted of you avatar for your icon???

  • Answer:

    Click on 'my profile' then 'edit my info' (on my us profile it's next to my avatar and signup date under 'public view of my profile'. Scroll down to picture, here is where you can choose to use your 360 photo or the yahoo avatar. You can also click to change your yahoo avatar from here. It appears you must have a 360 account to change your avatar to a photo or something other than a yahoo avatar. If you have 360, go to your page and click 'my page', and then above your avatar click 'edit personal photo's'. This is where you can upload your own photo(s) and decide which to use as 'Primary'. There have been reported issues with the avatars showing properly. Be sure to click save everywhere it is necessary along the way. If you don't have 360, looks like you will need to sign up for it in order to have a photo avatar, I didn't know that until I looked just now...

If you want a photo/picture as your avatar you need to make a yahoo 360 page upload the jpg picture you want as your default then go to yahoo mail>my profile>edit my info then click use my 360 picture>preview then OK http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=http://360.yahoo.com/

go to your profile, then click Edit my info, then go to where it has images nad click USE OWN PHOTO and pick one

You need to upload a pic to you 360 account and then in "edit profile" check - "use 360 picture"
