How do I add a picture to my e-mail signature?

Why can't I add a picture of my own choosing to my email signature?

  • Shalom, (picture of a rose)S.D.Lofton-Hutchinson This was my unique signature before starting to use Yahoo.

  • Answer:

There's two options here that I can see. One is that you are not using Internet explorer. Pictures in a signature can only be added or seen in Internet Explorer. I tested this quite thoroughly myself using Yahoo! Mail, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Thunderbird. Second option: You are using IE but can't figure out how to get a picture in the signature. Copy and Paste. Open the picture, right click and select Copy Image or whatever similar option you have, then click the cursor into your signature and paste it in. Voila! Instant picture in your signature. When I did this it worked, but was only viewable when reading the sent mail with IE, using Firefox or Thunderbird would not show the image. You can also just use the little emoticon rose in the the menu that appears when you click the smiley face in the Signature formatting bar.
