How do I delete updates in my yahoo mail?

All the updates from my connections are in my email. I want to delete them but there is no option to do that.

Answer:
You have to disable "Connection" in your settings. Mail page>>options>>mail options>>and the "general" page opens. Near the top of that page---UN-check the "connections" box which includes updates. Then click "save changes" at the top of the page.
