How to change my avatar from its present to a real picture?

  • Have been trying to change my avatar to a real picture of me but am unable to figure out how. Please give me any assistance available

  • Answer:

    First you have to save the pic you want to use into your pics file. Then after that there are 3 ways to do this 1. at the top of this page hover your mouse on my activity get the drop down then click on edit my preferences you can do it there or. 2. go to your pulse page do it there or 3. you can do this via the yahoo messenger. Your avatar can be a cartoon or a photo. Go to your Yahoo Answers profile at http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity/edit/about Click on "update photo or avatar" and a small window will open. To add a new "photo" avatar click on "add photo". To add a cartoon avatar click on "customize avatar". Create one and return. [Note: "Customize avatar" opens a new tab or window with http://avatars.yahoo.com ] Select the photo you want to use. After clicking "use selected photo" be sure to click "submit" ℬ ℋ
