How do I change the picture image on my profile?

I can't change my Avatar! How do I change it!?

  • So I've tried changing through my Yahoo answers profile. I've gone to Edit my preferences and I've tried to change my picture in edit my profile image and I get the picture but I always end up seeing the old picture. What do you see? Or does it take time to switch?

  • Answer:

    1st one for a pic, second for an avatar. Click on view my profile. Double click on your picture or avatar where it says change your picture.Box opens with options to upload a picture. Upload the picture from your computer, select it and you are done. Go to edit my preferences at the top right of your home page. You will see a grey smiley marked get my avatar now. Click that and you can create your avatar on the page that opens.

Go to your yahoo. Then at the side there is usually a box that says answers auto and stuff like that. Under all of the Yahoo Services that are listed it will say more Yahoo Services so click on that. Then it will show the letter A. Under that it will show Avatars. So click on that. Then you will get to your avatar. The let's say you wanted to change your appearance. Then it will say appearance apparel and stuff like that. Then since you want to change your appearance click on that. Then lets say you wanted to change your skin color. There are skin colors on the top. Just click on the one you want. I hope I helped.

A̲   If you want a C̲a̲r̲t̲o̲o̲n̲ avatar then create or modify one at http://avatars.yahoo.com and then go to C̲. B̲   If you want a P̲h̲o̲t̲o̲ avatar then upload an image to your Pulse Profile at http://pulse.yahoo.com/y . Click on the current photo to get the update options. Select the one you want to use and then go to C̲. NOTE: If you hide your profile the image will not show up on Yahoo! Answers. C̲   Now go to the Yahoo Answers profile at http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit . You can pick the cartoon or photo to use.
