How to set chat in my yahoo mail box?

i can't see any chatting options in my yahoo mail, but my friend use his account in my computer we can see chat tools in his mail and can chat. How to set chat in my yahoo mailbox?

See the smiley face next to your user name at the top of the mail page. Click it – then click Available, Busy, or Invisible. Yahoo! Mail will remember your choice when you return – even if you choose Sign out of chat. To learn more about what Available, Busy, or Invisible mean,click here. Yahoo! Messenger users: If we detect that you’re already signed into Messenger on your desktop, we'll just quietly not sign you into chat – we don't want to interrupt what you’re already doing. Of course, you can always change your status from the menu in Mail. Signing into chat will sign you out of Messenger on your desktop.
