Answer:

You can't. You'll need an external IM'ing program that reminds you when you have a new email. For instance, YMail IMer, that will remind you when you have mail (computer, mobile, etc), so TBH, I'd get a new email address and download MSN/YMail messenger. Hope this helps man.
