Can you edit your Yahoo mail?

Why can't I edit my Yahoo Mail Contacts anymore?

  • When I bring up Contacts, click on a name in that little tiny space (rediculous!) and then click on Edit, there's no scroll bar - so all I can edit is the name. I can't move any further down to the other information.

  • Answer:

You need to bring up the entire information for the Contact; When you click on the contacts name, a little card comes up with some of the information. The "Edit" yellow button upper right side will lead you directly to all of the contacts information. Make your additions, changes, and save the information, which takes a few seconds. I actually had reason to go in and move a contacts email address off of email and I moved it to "Home Address" to save it for someday. That way, after I saved, the contact wouldn't get emails from me. Good luck.

EDIT CONTACTS: Click Contacts to open your address book in the new format on the left. Click on the name you wish to Edit, not in the box next to it. Click on the yellow "Edit" button in the top right of this window. Make your changes in the form that opens, then click the yellow Save button, which is also on the right. Sometimes the address book doesn't open right away, takes a few seconds. Sometimes it does not open at all, just the empty page. If this happens, go out and back into Address Book to get it to open. Still some glitches with it, I guess.

When you click on the contact's name (not in the box)----and then click Edit in the right side screen----a box---(that you may not have noticed, it's so tiny) opens at the bottom of that page. That's what you have to scroll down in, to get to all the info about that contact. If you make any changes---remember to click "save". ............. I have discovered------on your mail page---IF you hover on your "HI name" (at the top of the page), and click on "contacts" in that drop menu----the page that comes up is a "little" bigger than the other one. Not much, that's true, but every little bit helps.
