How to remove email addresses?

How do i remove the long lists of email addresses when i forward a received email from others?

  • i hate all the forwarded emails with the addresses of hundreds of other people that have gotten it before me - can i remove all of them before i forward it to someone else

    You can only edit After you click on Forward. After you click on Forward, the previous addresses will be in your message area. You should be able to edit anything in the email, even the subject line. Highlight all of the previous addresses (click and drag), then press the delete key on on your keyboard. Sometimes you may need to do a few at a time because the delete doesn't always work on a large list. Go inside the blue line to get the rest. Can't remove that lately. NOTE: Be careful though. Sometimes you may delete the message also, if you go too far.

When in the email, after selecting "Forward", go down into the email and delete those names by dragging your curser over the addresses while holding down "Control" or ? (your system), the same way that you would "Copy and Paste", except "Delete". It is a job when others have not removed the prior addresses, and I always send emails out BCC when sending to a group, so that the recipients keep their privacy. If I ever want to verify who I sent the email to, I go into the "Sent" folder and all the "BCC"'s are there. I agree with you. It should always be done. Good luck
